Roadmap for Portuguese Family Businesses Portal

This portal served to support the study on Portuguese Family Businesses called “Roadmap for Portuguese Family Businesses” that unites in consortium the Interdisciplinary Center for Social Sciences - Polo of the University of Minho and AEP - Portuguese Business Association, with the support of the North 2020 and the European Regional Development Fund.

Family businesses have a crucial importance for Portugal and Europe

The project aims to contribute to the knowledge and assessment of the impact of family businesses in the North Region on the local, national and international economy. To this end, an exhaustive mapping of all companies considered family members was made. The data are available on the official online portal that was created for this purpose. Several actions and events were also carried out to stimulate the study and the results obtained.
