The involvement of citizens, institutions, schools, among other agents, in this project, allows an effective and growing participation of the community in the active life of their city, their neighborhood, their street. This embodies what is best and most important in democracy.
After the enormous success of the first edition of the Participatory Budget, an instrument that contributes decisively to the construction of a more active and responsible citizenship, the Municipality of Braga intends to continue an initiative that returns to civil society a space and time of intervention and decision on municipal issues, allowing citizens to intervene, influence and give their opinion on projects and investments that must be made available to all stakeholders.
